Ana + Austin

Austin's best friend convinced him to fly to New Zealand to work at a Christian camp with him. When Austin agreed, little did Austin know, his heart was about to be stolen by a gorgeous woman from Samoa.

Austin and Ana began their work together as outdoor activity instructors and ended up spending most of their free time traveling New Zealand with their friends. After a year of working side by side and getting to know each other in the presence of friends, Austin made their relationship official. Now instead of working with each other on their outdoor adventures and ministry, they now worked together hand-in-hand.

I think Ana and Austin had one of the most romantic engagement dates. Ana's brother who happens to be a pilot, flew the couple over Ana's home city and their favorite beach.

This sweet couple were married in New Zealand, but also chose to have a reception here in the states. I have to tell you, they received the good ole' Arkansas welcome and the humidity showed up for their wedding day. We began the day with the bride and groom's mother getting ready at a local hair salon, and then headed to McCoy's Little Red Barn in Beebe, AR. With 100 degree temps in the middle of August, everyone was carrying around water bottles and bug spray.

Ana and Austin's friends also joined us here in Arkansas. Their closest friends and family traveled from all over the world from Germany and New Zealand to Great Britain and NWA to celebrate A+A. They were one of the most fun parties to photograph!

From everything from the dessert charcuterie table to the dancing, this wedding reception was one to remember....with all of the Arkansas vibes that a couple from New Zealand dreamed about.
