Kaitlyn + Jeanathan = High school sweethearts
These two high school sweethearts were married on May 6, 2023. After photographing Kaitlyn's bridals, I knew that this couple was going to be a blast to be around all day on their wedding day.
Kaitlyn, an elementary teacher, , and Jeanathan, the one that makes his bride giggle, cry, and laugh out loud, both couldn't stop smiling on this day. When it came to their time to tie the knot, it’s no surprise that the results were nothing short of magical. And to truly plan a celebration authentic to their love, this couple planned every little detail down to the food truck's boat papers being customized.
To kick off their wedding, the couple rented out The Baker in North Little Rock for the weekend. This historic icon owned by Stacy and Nathan Hamilton, was the backdrop for an amazing intimate wedding. The space was transformed into a dreamy garden wedding with cascading greenery by Blooming Bee out of Beebe, AR. The couple added personality to their wedding from the food truck custom menu to the party glasses at the reception. Downtown North Little Rock was the place to be Saturday night. Music by DJ Dun Been could be heard blocks away with the wedding party dancing the night away.
After sealing the deal with a bubble exit, the party began. The reception space was complete with two rows of tables and one head table that became the new focal point. The dance floor mixed with a designated corn hole area was enjoyed by all guests.
Cookies from Crumbl Cookie along with a grazing table were added during cocktail hour along with a bartender on the front porch.
This elegant and timeless intimate wedding was one to remember! I loved capturing every detail that the couple had put so much planning and thought into.

First Look
I can't recommend a first look enough. This sweet couple was all tears, giggles, and laughs while they read their written vows in a private and intimate location in the courtyard. These two exchanged the most heartfelt vows and couldn't stop affirming one another. To say that I had tears behind the camera is an understatement.
Ceremony
A thunderstorm teased the sky the morning of the big day. As the day progressed the sun came out and definitely warmed everything up. It was a typical Arkansas day with the humidity as high as it could get without it raining while the sun beat down. That didn't stop this elegant and classic ceremony from beginning and taking everyone's thoughts of the heat away. I'd have to say one of my favorite moments was when Jeanathan was so eager to say "I DO" that after the officiant read the first sentence, everyone heard "I DO!!!" from the groom. This broke the ice and it was all smiles and laughter from the couple until the big kiss.
Bridal Party
The bridal party was one to remember. Although the party had odd numbers with 7 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen, we still took the BEST photos where symmetry didn't matter. This group was ready to dance the night away and enjoy each other's company throughout the evening. They were prepared with props and were down for any shots/poses.
Reception
The bridal party all came in with their own dance or handshake while the couple had their own handshake to start the evening off right. You could find guests enjoying food from the food truck to playing corn hole. This couple planned it all from light sticks to a group photo to start the night off on the dance floor.
