Katie and Dylan are married! These two got married on a Saturday afternoon and it was just the perfect little church wedding. It was an intimate ceremony where these two were surrounded with their closest friends and family. They had their ceremony at First Presbyterian in Jacksonville, AR.
These two contacted me and we met immediately. I could tell that Dylan and Katie were in love from head to toe after spending just a minute with them. The entire time we chatted about their wedding day, they were holding hands and eyeing one another.
Dylan and Katie decided to write their own vows and save them for the alter instead of their first look. There were tears shed and laughs to be had throughout the ceremony.
The bride had a first look with dad and the groom both. This made my photographer heart ecstatic. If you are ever in doubt, do the first look. The time spent away from others and the moments you get to have in a private setting are unmatched. Every single bride that has done a first look has never regretted it.
Even though the couple decided on a small intimate church wedding, they didn't skimp on the details. Check out Katie's shoes along with the paper flowers that Katie personally made for every bouquet and boutonniere. Having this personal touch to an intimate wedding was key. These two were both so very excited to finally get married and celebrate with their friends and family. It truly was an old soul wedding with some modern touches, and we were ecstatic to be a part of it.
