I am still not over this elopement style wedding on top of Petit Jean Mountain in Arkansas. Mikaela and Hunter vowed to love one another forever in front of the closest friends and family on a perfect spring day in May. Brittany from Blooming Bee in Beebe joined me, and having her around to feeding off of her artistic eye was a dream.
M and H rented a cabin beside the lodge at Petit Jean which set the perfect mood and vibes for this mountain wedding. As M got ready with her mom and best friend, Hunter and his dad waited patiently for the first looks with M.
The gift exchanges at the first look brought all the tears. A first look with dad always gets me in my feels. We then headed down the mountain a bit for the first look with the groom. M's sister and future brother-in-law helped her down to the first look site and here Hunter was waiting nervously. The amount of affirmations that came from them at their first look were insanely breathtaking. If you've ever been on the fence about a first look, call these two. They spent over 40 minutes together, and it was absolutely magical!
The wedding was on top of the south side of the mountain. A long dirt road lead to a small pavilion where these two exchanged their vows on this sunny evening. Peek that Arkansas horizon. This Natural State is GORGEOUS!
