Moix in the Mountains - Logan + Hunter
I met these two on the night of their engagement session and I couldn't have been happier to have met them at their small farm that included the cutest darn donkeys and goats. We headed over the ridge and began their engagements in a pecan tree farm and then onto Hunter's boat where he took us out into the middle of the Arkansas River for the best location you could ask for. I knew after their engagements that their wedding was not only going to be a romantic one, but also one that you don't want to leave. Last night was a time to remember!
Nestled in the heart of the Ozarks, Ponca Creek Lodge stood as the perfect backdrop for the intimate and beautiful classy wedding of Logan Winters and Hunter Moix. Family members gathered in the cozy, yet spacious rooms all around the cabin to help prepare for the day.
The couple chose a palette of champagne and white, combination that mirrored their elegant style. Logan and Hunter got ready surrounded by their closest loved ones, the air filled with laughter, anticipation, and the occasional pop of a champagne cork and beer tab. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the delicate floral arrangements to the carefully chosen attire, each piece adding to the beauty of the day.
Into the afternoon, guests slowly gathered for the ceremony (it's the beauty of a small wedding). With no more than 40 guests, the wedding was an intimate affair, every face in the crowd someone deeply cherished by the couple. The ceremony space was transformed from wood blanks to a romantic space, with soft candlelight and rose petals lining the aisle.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds stole away to the Buffalo River for a private moment. These intimate moments, captured as the sun set behind the bluffs, is something that every couple should cherish. Just some time alone on YOUR day.
As night fell, the celebration continued back at the lodge. It was a space of pure joy as friends and family gathered to celebrate the couple. The night was filled with dancing, laughter, and heartfelt toasts from the parents, and with confetti showers to end the night.
